Today’s event leader is Tom P :
Celebrate Leap Day with the The Metropolitan Opera of New York, who are relaying Handel’s Agripinna, a tale of the lengths a woman will go to in order to advance the interests of her son. No, it is set in Rome, not in Sussex.
The opera nominally starts at 17:55, runs for 3:45 and has one, 30 minute interval.
Tickets are about £20-00, depending on the discounts you qualify for, and can be booked via the Cineworld website (well, you may be able to!) or else at the Box Office in the Didsbury multiplex. My preference is for aisle seats towards the back, Row M, low twenties, but likely the aisle seats are the first to go.
