John Stumbles has researched the topic of Nuclear Power and its relevance to Climate Change.

He will be taking us on a journey discussing existing Uranium based nuclear power through to Thorium reactors that could help us convert the large quantities of dangerous nuclear waste we have into something much less harmful … and generate lots of electricity in the process. In the process, we will look at the attitudes of many “Green” organisations towards nuclear power and asking whether renewables really could supply all our energy needs without significantly impoverishing us.
