AIVC Event – Online Talk : Lawrence of Arabia, an Unusual Genius

‘T E Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia) an unusual genius’ by Philip Neale, Chair of the T.E. Lawrence Society.

London IVC is continuing its talks group events on-line and cordially invites IVC members nationwide to join what promises to be a fascinating talk event of about one hour, with a short break and discussion session.

Why was Lawrence (the renowned Lawrence of Arabia) known as being unusual whilst at the same time called a genius by many who knew him? Three main themes will be explored:

Lawrence the young traveller and archaeologist;
His place in the Arab revolt and the peace process in the Middle East;
His literary legacy through the importance of his correspondence, books he wrote and the artists he befriended.

No need to book. This event will be via Zoom. Please join prior to 8pm by clicking on the link below.
