AIVC Event – Highcliffe Cafe Sci : Rosalind Franklin and DNA

The meeting of Highcliffe Cafe Sci for Thursday the 16th of July will be delivered virtually via Zoom video call at 7:00pm (instead of our usual 6:00pm start).

“Rosalind Franklin and the DNA double helix” presented by Professor Brian Sutton, King’s College London.

The video call will be open from 6:45 pm, callers before this time will be placed in a virtual waiting room. Please also note that we are restricted to a maximum of 100 attendees so places are on a first-come, first-serve basis.

We will follow roughly our normal format with a presentation of approx 40 minutes then questions.

Zoom offers a mechanism for participants to either type questions as “chat” or to “raise a hand” and ask a question directly.

If you are unfamiliar with Zoom, more details on how to join meetings can be found here:

We would also welcome any donations to help cover out costs via our Just Giving page. As usual, any surplus at the end of the year will be donated to a local charity.
