In your home/garden/allotment : Whatever the size of your garden, be it an indoor terrarium, a window box, or large enough for a lawn, if you love plants and nature then the gardening club is for you.
With the lockdown, whether we are working from home (think of the travelling time you are saving) or are retired, we all have more time on our hands and what better way than to spend it in the garden. Like most gardeners I like nothing better in the summer than visiting other peoples gardens & exchanging gardening tips. However this year it seems it will have to be at a distance so lets all meet on line and share our photos of whats blooming in our garden and share successes and failures in our respective estates.
If you are working from home why not have your lunch in the garden and join us even if only for a short while.
If you have any photos to share please forward them to Ann. And if you have a mobile device and a good roaming connection why not join us from your garden or allotment so that you can show us what you have been doing live.
During the event there is the opportunity to ask ‘the panel’, ie the other participants!!, for help with any gardening problems you may have. There may be a virtual garden tour or even a gardening quiz.
You can join us by using a PC (with camera and microphone attached), Laptop, iPad, Tablet or Smart phone by clicking here: https://zoom.us/j/4689584830 What should happen will be something like this – may vary depending on your device and operating system: If this is your first time you will be invited to download a small app and indicate your name. You will be invited into the waiting room for the Garden Club. When Dave Lawrence lets you in ensure you have turned on video and sound.
