We are going camping. Don’t know where, but we are going. Walking and preparing our own food.
Wales is still in lockdown so Shell Island is unavailable. As pubs and restaurants are closed, we can be in the back of beyond and self-sufficient. Nick is thinking of one of those unpopular farm sites. So long as there is two days of walks, we can be happy.
We will pick an area that is within equal reach of those attending. So far, people are going from Merseyside, Sussex, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire.
Numbers are constrained by social distancing regulations.
We expect that pubs or restaurants will be unavailable. Members will need to be self sufficient, especially for the first night. It is expected that the daytime activity will be walking and evenings confined to the campsite.
Open to ordinary members of IVC clubs around the country, see http://www.ivc.org.uk/index.cfm (“Inter-Club Events”) for contact details.
